Diary of a Minecrafter

Dear Diary,

How are you? I haven't played Minecraft in a while and I'm glad to get back into it!

Today we played in yet another survival world, which we have already built some houses and explored.

A few days ago, we played the same world, and I was so happy to find a wild wolf and tame it, as those are more rare in certain biomes. I may have been a bad owner, because my wolf drowned, and I didn't know! I thought he could swim, but I guess he was trapped under a block and couldn't get to the surface (By the way, for anyone who doesn't know, dogs / wolves can swim, or float rather), and so when I saw "wolf drowned" I was really unhappy, as I have worked hard to get that dog.

The next few days, I tried to look for some wolves to tame, yet nothing! We did explore, though. We came across a taiga snowy biome, an extreme hills biome, and swamp biome.

The swamp biome, was not too interesting, as we did not find a witch. But we mined the lily pads and I leaded a frog (though he fell somewhere and I never saw him again.) To make up for it, we found a ship wreck, which we looted. Yet due to unfortunate circumstances, there was no treasure chest, but only a buried treasure map, which we may look into.

The extreme hills biome, had huge mountains with snow falling on them, looking very majestic. We also found llamas, which I will get later. We also found a lot of ores, including coal, iron, and even emeralds! (Emeralds are super rare and only found in one biome - the extreme hills biome.) But we couldn't mine it, since we did not have an iron pickaxe on hand.

The next day - the current day - we got up and fought some mobs, got resources, and food - an average day. But we traveled back to the snowy biome, in hopes of a village. As we were travelling over land, there in front of me was a woods wolf! I immediately tamed it, as I always have some bones on hand, in case of emergency, and dyed its collar blue.

Marcus came along too, in search for the village. We travelled far, but we stuck mostly in the snowy biome. We crafted a boat and rowed on blue ice to make us go faster! (Though it is really hard to control.)

Eventually, after covering vast distances, we found a snowy village, and looted it. There wasn't much though, and we were a little disappointed that we had traversed so far, just to come to a village with little things.

After we just logged off, as our time was done, but we will play tomorrow!
